The Kremlin henchman in the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov stated on his Instagram page openly and officially that he approves of the beatings and public humiliation of quarantine violators, explaining such gross violations of human rights afforded by law enforcement agencies by (in his opinion) a noble reason – the protection of the entire population.
According to him, violence and humiliation of quarantine violators are necessary and important measures to combat the coronavirus.
It is interesting whether Ramzan Kadyrov actually knows that a pandemic can be fought without violating human rights?
